When I left school with just four O’level passes, the future seemed uncertain. I could have gone in many directions—or none at all. But deep down, I knew I wanted more from life. I wanted to explore my potential, challenge myself, and see what I could truly achieve.
Fast forward to 2001. After 10 years in a job that I enjoyed but felt limited by, I knew it was time for a change. I wasn’t entirely sure what that ‘more’ was, but I felt a deep urge to discover it. Going back to school was a possibility that crossed my mind, but like many women, I hesitated. Should I take that leap?
I finally did-but not until I was 40. I started with a small step, enrolling in a certificate course. Little did I know that one decision would ignite a passion for learning and growth that transformed my life. Soon, I realized that this wasn’t just about me; it was about creating opportunities for other women, like me, who had never been given the chance to fully embrace their potential.
Three degrees later (and working on my fourth), my passion continues to grow. I’ve learned that I am a product of my own resilience and determination. Today, I am fiercely committed to helping other women realize their own dreams. Too many women with immense talent let their dreams slip away, simply because they don’t have the right tools or guidance to turn those dreams into reality.

That’s why I founded Zoma Business Solutions-to help women like you. My business is a vehicle for economic and societal change, grounded in the belief that when women succeed, communities thrive. In my second year of a doctoral program, I was introduced to Global Entrepreneurship and saw how women in developing countries became economic powerhouses through entrepreneurial efforts. This inspired me to focus on the unique role women entrepreneurs can play in shaping the future of our economy.
